An incredibly inspiring book to which God can really speak to the heart of the reader, lifechanging in the hands of the Almighty...

My father introduced me to reading through the Ladybird reading scheme. I was reading whole books by the age of 2. These books are timeless and wonderful at educating children without their getting bored or finding the layout of the book complex.

I would recommend the entire set to anyone interested in stimulating their children's mind forever

This book is good for those wishing to learn about the inner workings of the IBM PC and 8086 Assembly Language, requires a familirarity with BASIC or some other programming language and the PC, Microsoft Macro Assembler version 1.0 or later or compatible assembler recommended

The Loeb series is meant to aid students, which is why its translations often read very literally. When Murray writes, "The wrath sing, goddess, of Peleus' son Achilles," he is following the word order of the Greek exactly: "Mênin aeide, thea, Pêlêiadeô Achilêos." If you buy this book for the Greek text, the literal English translation will help as a quick reference when stuck on a word. If you buy this book for the English translation, you'll gain a sense of the logic of the Greek language and a much more reliable translation than most.

This book is a beautifully illustrated book with colorful pictures and beautiful language. It makes you want to be in key with god.

In this age of digital consciousness it is almost impossible to comprehend how an artist like Kim Murray can draw these images in all their details and textures. The ornate and lush style of the illustrations are a meditation that one willingly surrenders to- a collection of mandala- like imagery that is a feast for the eye and the heart. The print quality of Illuminations is also extraordinary- this book is an incredible deal at this price!

The Illustrated Guide really is. It's a non-axe-grinding report on many long term trends in American life and a useful reference when people of one political stripe or another make broad statements.

One of the latest titles in the outstanding "Meet The Author Series" from Richard C. Owen Publishers, Imagination showcases popular children's picture book author Mike Thaler who tells young readers about himself, and what it's like to create, write, and illustrate stories for children everywhere. Full-color photographs and warm, personal narration make Imagination an enjoyable read to share, especially with budding young storytellers curious about the creative process. Also very highly recommended for school and community library collections are two other "Meet The Author" series titles: Laura Numeroff's If You Give An Author A Pencil... and Denise Fleming's Maker Of Things...

As midlife appears to be an unavoidable passage in all cultures of the world, (gratefully so), this compact book is packed with the insights midlifers need to reflect upon it with wisdom and patience. It is a keeper!

Earl Murray of course did a good job in writing an excellent book, again. Since Isabelle Bird, the main character in this book, did a lot of travelling all over, I think a good series on many of her travels would be a great idea. If you're interested in reading about women in the west, this book is one to read. I have not yet been disappointed in any of Murray's books.
